Still yummy, but just not jaw dropping. The chips were super hot and fresh and everything came out so quickly! Will definitely go back again! Downsides: The prices aren't listed on the board, and I didn't realize you only get one Bao instead of multiple.

A lot of plastic waste. Pros: The bao tastes really good and they offer a variety of options that allow you to try new things without having to get a lot. The vibes are really nice here, they play good music and the workers are nice. Really love the Bao buns here, my favourite is the Spicy Thai - the sauce is spicy and delicious.

The Bao is fresh and soft and worth trying. They have various options and i am sure that everything tastes good. One Bao is small and may be should try more than one.

The Fat fries here are good too, the kimcheenaise tastes in the fries is really good. The fries are thin and crispy. Overall it's a good experience. It's a self service restaurant and I recommend finding a seat before you load your hands your order!

Absolutely Loved this spot. The food was great and service was awesome. Took my daughter for her Birthday and she Loved it. We ordered the Pork Belly, Curry Beef, Duck, and Spicy Chicken Boas and the Yummy Fries.

Everything was very Good. Nothing special about the Yummy Byrd but the fried bun is a nice touch. The Crab Daddy is good but the bun is way too oily. It would have tasted better if they could just remove the excessive oil from the soft shell crab before putting it on the bun.

Very disappointed. We were excited to eat here after reading good reviews and seeing a packed restaurant. Service was fast and friendly but the food was either bland or the flavors did not mix well.

Had the spicy Thai bao and it was a chicken finger dipped in sauce. The chicken fat fries are bits of chicken nuggets with fries and hot sauce.

Would not recommend this place. Stay organized with a to-do list, packing list, shopping list, any kind of list. La Calle is a mexican restaurant that serves up some of the best street tacos in town. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the food is classic and delicious.

Finally got the chance to try this place and I was not disappointed. The menu is nice and simple, the place has plenty of seating and the food comes out fast! The food definitely tasted like I was back in Mexico!

The food had so much flavor, it tasted fresh and the stuff was spicy which I LOVE! They also have different deals for every day of the week. Definitely want to come back to try other stuff. Great location, by downtown.

First time here since Im from out of town and I loved it. Love the vibes, how authentic the inside of the restaurant is. The menu was real easy to read and meals to choose from.

The tacos were delicious. Staff were nice and friendly when ordering food. Went over to the bar side for a few drinks and had a great service from the bartender named Poncho. He offered us a special Margarita which was prepared with love and we felt it.

I ordered with Roger, whom wad equally awesome, the Brirra tacos which was my 1st time trying and won't be my last. Every other restaurant has a very high bar to meet. First timer and will hopefully return the next time I'm in Houston. I had a great experience Dined in.

Let them know it was my first time they explained how simple everything was. Got the Birria Torta it was delicious 🤤 The bolillo was so soft , everything just melted in my mouth. They have q salsa buffet which made it even better!!!

My favorite is the spicy avocado salsa! Tried the Lemonade with chia seeds! Great touch! Definitely would come back. Me and my wife were in town for a few days and spent the majority of it eating tacos.

It was late on a Friday night we were exhausted after a work event and took an Uber La Calle as it was recommended to us. The food and the service were fantastic. We ended up going twice in as many days. Tortillas were fresh, all the meat options were seasoned so well.

I appreciated all the drink options as well. Good Dog Houston is a hot dog joint that specializes in creative franks and buns with housemade condiments. They have a patio for pet parents to enjoy their dogs, as well as an ice cold beer. Nice establishment with inside and outside seating.

Not too big on hot dogs for dinner but I might be a fan of Gourmet hot dogs. First meal all day so I had to go all out. Ordered the Ol' Zapata, quite scrumptious especially the bread, it had a sweet taste that complimented it well. Also the aioli dip with the fries something crucial, I'm telling you.

The Fizzy Mint Lemonade, was decent if you not a fan of lime I wouldn't go for it. All in all it was pretty good. I tried Good Dog with little expectations outside of a higher priced lunch.

The place was clean with good service. I looked at some reviews before I decided to go there and got lured by the Beer Cheese Soup. I ordered the soup, a side of their fresh cut fries and a Rodeo Dog on a recommendation from a staff member.

As I was in line another patron in front of me ordered the Rodeo dog so that gave me some confidence in what I was ordering I maybe should've went basic on my first go The dog is loaded with stuff.. some ingredients that go together and some that should be left on the side.

The beer cheese soup was good, but I needed more buttered bread. It was really sour and the buttered bread they give on the side really went well with it. The fries were excellent. They make all the condiments in house. The ketchup and aoli were a little bland, but some table salt livened them up good.

I'll be back when I'm ready to drop some dime and I'll be sure to go a little plainer on the dog if I get one. Less is more here. I went there for their Chili Cheese Dog. It was good. I definitely enjoyed the fries, which were seasoned to perfection.

The prices are pretty reasonable for this type of restaurant. Overall, I would highly recommend this place for a good lunch spot.

Overpriced food for its Flavor and Portions. They LOOK Good but Aside from the condiments, me and my Friend didn't taste any flavor from the Hot Dogs or the Mac and Cheese, which was a tiny portion. And the Home Made Cream soda didn't have much taste or sweetness.

It was just carbonated water with hint of cream Soda. My second time here. I brought my wife. We ordered the texas dog and bratwurst. Both came with chips. We also ordered some mac and cheese and two drinks. The food came fresh and hot. The staff was friendly and helpful. We couldn't finish everything so we took the left overs to go.

Food quality is very good and fresh. The menu is very diverse not just hot dogs. Lots of good side options and a good selection of beers. Great hot dog and great sides. We had a take out order for a large group, but they had it ready relatively quickly.

I loved the Chili Cheese Please Dog, the fries, and the fried pickles. We wanted to try something new like always and we found this nice little place called Good Dog Houston and we enjoyed the atmosphere and the food Stop by and check it out Well until next time signing off Two Peas.

I stopped by Good Dog Houston for lunch today and was pleasantly surprised. The hot dogs were delicious, and the chili cheese fries were amazing.

The lavender lemonade was also refreshing. The staff was friendly and the decor was cool. This is a great place! Went to Republic boot company right before lunch , went online, found this place, and loved the selection.

I got the chili cheese plz on a poppy seed bun. I loved the hot dog. What little chili was on it was very good. The cheese was just ok , I could have done without it and not missed much. My husband got the old Zapata dog.

He liked it. My brother-in -law got the Rodeo dog , and he did not like the "snap" of the hot dog. He said it was tough. He did like the macaroni and cheese on it even though it was very messy.

It was supposed to have Jalapeno relish , he did not taste it. We got a side of ff , they were just ok. I got an order of house made I thought chips , they were good but would have been better hot , especially if they were house made. My brother-in-law got onion rings , they were huge , but the breading fell off.

This ramen restaurant is popular for its Hakata-style ramen, affordable pricing, and late night dining. The menu features robata grilled items such as hearts, tongues, and gizzards that are delicious and authentically gnarly.

Slide 1 of 7. Really great ramen place located in Dun Huang Plaza. The restaurant has a nice decor. We tried multiple dishes and all were delicious. Our favorites are the spicy cucumber and ika geso fried squid from the starters and the spicy miso ramen.

This ramen store closes at midnight so it was perfect spot for late night dinner. The waiters are attentive and the food is served fast. Loved my ramen experience here. It's open late night and that the best.

The wait list can get crazy but its worth the wait. They won't let you in till you entire party is present. The ambience is decent and clean, smells of the grills. The service is good.

This was our first time and so we went with the servy recommendations. We tried the Tsukemen - it's dipping noodles and the ramen is really good. It's spicy and full of flavors. The spicy miso was my favorite - the broth is wholesome and delicious. I did not get the Pork chashu but the veggies and the chicken skewer on the side was a good combo.

The veggie shout was good too. Overall it was ba good time and did enjoy the ramen here. We were six people.

We had to wait over 30 minutes to be seated. Other small groups of 1, 2,3 went ahead. Once inside it was a small restaurant so we understood. The waiter knew we did not eat pork and offer suggestion for veg meatless choice. While friend order pork choice.

The food was quickly. We enjoyed our first Ramen experience. Kids love it. Shrimp was not a favorite and would take away all the Brussels sprouts. But the both was hot and soothing. It was a nice experience and friendly staff. After such a long drive to Houston you were the the place that was very nice to let us four to dine in when you were about to close.

Thank you. Ramen very worth it after such a long drive, so delicious but sadly the chicken was a little pink but that's okay. Staff very kind, fast and wonderful. Great ramen spot for a quick date night or if you are riding solo.

I went bc their Tsukumen dipping noodles were recommended but due to my peanut allergy I wasn't able to order them 😢. They had a miso wasabi dip that was 💯 2 Garlic Black Bean Ramen: broth was rich creamy and perfect.

I added a bit of chili oil for spice. Their noodles seemed a bit under done and could have used possibly an extra 30 seconds in the water. end of story. This place does get pretty busy, glad I was lucky to come at a time when it wasn't. I mainly wanted to eat Ramen and they definitely had a good variety of other appetizers and entrees to eat.

I went for the Tonkotsu Ramen, full of flavor, from the broth to each item in the bowl. I think this is my favorite Ramen spot in Houston now. Tarka Indian Kitchen is a contemporary-themed indian restaurant in Houston, TX.

Offering a variety of vegan and gluten-free menu items, the restaurant strives to make affordable and healthy Indian cuisine. Tarka Indian Kitchen is one of the best Indian restaurants in the area. The food is delicious and the service is excellent.

I appreciate how simple the menu was to read. I would recommend that they add more Indian drinks such as masala tea. However, the drinks that they do offer are amazing!! I would recommend this place to my closest friends and family. Tarka Indian Kitchen was indeed awesome experience. We went for lunch along with the kids.

As we were there for first time, we waited for someone to come and attend us. Then I went to check on the same and got to know that there is a different process. You need to order first, get token number and sit on the table. Once your order is ready, they will serve you at the table.

We ordered Malai Kofta and 2 garlic naan for 2 adults and we were full. Ordered paneer Biryani bowl for the kids. It was mild and my kids really enjoyed it. With the kids menu, you do get drink. We chose mango one and it turned out to be very tasty. Kids just loved it.

The icing on the top was masala fries. Adults and kids both liked it. We liked so much and we ordered 2 more for to-go. This Indian restaurant has really reasonable price. Its must try if you are in or traveling to Houston.

Though this place is highly rated, the food quality is below average. I had few veg dishes here and it was sub standard. The staffs were very cordial and nice guys but the food was not good.

I absolutely loved this place. Friendly service, absolutely delicious food, really reasonable prices, great location, and all-around fantastic experience. I really hope to visit this place a lot as this is my favorite type of food!

Super glad that I discovered Tarka and will be returning! Authentic Indian food that happens to be a franchise restaurant. All of their ingredients are fresh, very well seasoned, and full of flavor.

Not shown but the Mango lassi is a favorite! This Houston-based chain offers a menu of classic southern fare, complete with Cajun flair. The line moves quickly at this restaurant, which is open weekday lunch only.

This was my first time here and I must say the food was well prepared and delicious. I had the chicken fried chicken with rice, gravy, and some veggies. The chicken and veggies were absolutely tender.

When I say the veggies were tender, they were not hard when I ate them. At the same time, they were not soft, but cooked just right.

It was right on time. I'm definitely going to be back. Love love the baked chicken usually get the half order. The flavors are so so good. Got 4 stars because today got less than half and no butter with my bread that is way too chewy.

For a lunch slinger, Treebeards is mediocre at best. They are a high-priced cafeteria-style restaurant living on their name alone. For this visit, my friend and I chose to have a bowl of seafood gumbo and a fountain drink. For this money, one would expect an exquisite eating experience.

Well, if expectations were high, they were quickly, and abruptly crushed. The gumbo was cold, and lacked a good flavor at all. Every bite, my tongue died a thousand deaths. By the end of my eating experience, if you want to call it that, my tongue committed suicide, in self defense.

I basically stopped eating about halfway through my bowl of food. This was my second experience with Treebeards. Both experiences were similar. There is a really strong possibility I will not be back again. The Shrimp Etouffee is really good, but when you order by a delivery service, I think they rip you off 😒 and pile more onions, bell pepper and celery.

Like the food.. This is not the first time this has happen to me with them!!! Great place for our team lunch! Food is a little pricey but great tastes and good portions. It was ok; expensive though Got the salad gumbo and cake. The gumbo had lots of meat which was good.

Just lacking a little in flavor but not bad. The salad vinaigrette dressing was so sour. I would be ok going back, just felt it was expensive for a small salad, cup of soup, and one slice of cake and water.

food is good. friendly, spacious, and clean. Just want to say thank you for the awesome food and service I've gotten here for years! A quick lunch, scheduled catering or last minute cake or cookie orders have always been well prepared and presented.

Thanks for saving my bacon again today!! I can count on Treebeards!!! Located in the heart of Texas, Bubba's Texas Burger Shack is known for their buffalo burgers, bottled Texas beers, and thick-cut bacon. You can also find beef patties here, but if you want to experience the true Buffalo burger flavor, you'll need to get it on the menu.

The lines can be long, but it's always worth it for some unbeatable burger food. Great quality homemade Texas burgers. Tons of outdoor seating. You can build your burger just how you like it with cheese, bacon, chili, avocado, mushrooms or an egg. All burgers come with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles, mayo, mustard, ketchup or bbq sauce.

Small dirt parking lot off the side of the freeway that fills up when they are busy. This place has been consistently great every time I have come here for the past six years.

I highly recommend the bison burger. The bison packs a whole lot of clean, fresh meat flavor with very little greasiness. Add a soft fried egg for an extra treat and a silky, creamy texture, although I'd also suggest a slice of melted cheese and jalapenos on top of that for a nice variety of contrasting flavors.

Others, there are plenty of other topping choices on their menu. The only bad thing is having to sit outside in the heat to eat, as there is no indoor seating available, although if this is a very big problem for anyone their burgers are always available to go.

Awesome super juicy burgers and ingredients. The egg on top was amazing. Jalapeño potato salad was really great though.

Not too bad of a burger. A little on the pricey side. Bison is a little more dry than a regular beef patty as well but some might prefer less fat percentage. Wish I could give 3. Bubbas burger is an original experience for a casual lunch or dinner under a freeway bridge. To order you need to go inside the shack and order your favorite burguer.

They have beef, bison, hotdogs and a veggie option too. To drink they have soft drinks and beer for a hot day. After order, head out, pick your favorite spot and wait until the shake window opens and call your name.

On this visit we tried a Simple Beef Burger and the Vegas Burger and for beverage we had local beer. Burgers are good, meat is tasty and I like the fact that they have a lot of flavorful mustard. Tried for first time based on reviews. I wanted to order as basic a burger to taste the quality of the beef and bun.

First impression was a nice fresh taste of lettuce and tomatoes. Cheese was normal American and the bun almost had a chiabatta texture taste, still good. The young lady who took my order was very nice and helpful with recommendations. Overall, burger to me was not as flavorful and juicy as I hoped for.

Not much seasoning for me. All travel reservations in 1 place. Never dig through your emails again — access all your flights, lodging, and any reservations in 1 place. Hamburger restaurant. burger-chan is a hidden gem in the Greenway Plaza food court, where you can enjoy fresh, affordable burgers with lots of customization options.

From the regular 2-ounce 44 Farms beef patties to the 5-ounce option, there's no charge for swapping out your bun for a protein-style one or for adding any of the complimentary toppings. Great burgers in the Galleria area.

You can pick between a smash burger very thin patty or slightly thicker patty. Great selection of high quality breads and also unique and high quality toppings. Service is efficient and done with a smile.

Clever touches like a math problem of the day and a quote of the day on chalkboards hanging in the restaurant. As a burger aficionado, I can highly recommend trying this place! The cashier at the counter will also help you out, giving suggestions and checking for clarification.

The food comes out relatively fast, and depending on how you build your burger, it can be pretty cheap. Highly recommend for a fun experience. You have to customize how you want your burger or whatever you're getting by filling out a form on their small clipboards. They make everything fresh.

You can even see them making the food in the back. They have plenty of seating inside and they even have outside seating. I got a double 2 ounce burger on a brioche bun with regular burger toppings and pepper jack cheese. I also added bacon and charred jalapenos.

The food was A1! My burger was delicious, hot, fresh, and well seasoned. My curly fries were hot and fresh as well.

I thoroughly enjoyed my meal! The only thing I'd say is their brioche bun could be a bit softer; it didn't really give me that super soft, sweet, doughy, melt in your mouth brioche feel, it just tasted like a regular hamburger bun.

I'll definitely be back. This place is really good. Burgers and other items can be customized to your liking and the service is great. I got the brioche bun with double smashed patties, the aioli, cheddar cheese, medium fried egg, lettuce, ketchup, pickles, and pickled jalapeños.

The burger was cooked really well and had tons of flavor. This might be my favorite burger in town. Definitely worth visiting. The service is awesome too! Checked out burger-chan while we are in town, and absolutely love how flavorful their burgers are! Got me a burger with lettuce as my buns, some perfectly crispy cheese curds, and a refreshingly super black sesame-y black sesame shake.

I have to admit, I went fork and knife on this thing to minimize mess since this was a monster of a burger, even with only one patty! Kiddos were also well-satisfied with their cheeseburger and chicken nuggets, respectively, and they got to color while we waited.

It definitely didn't hurt that they each got a chocolate chip cookie along with their kids meals to end on a sweet note.

Great spot to bring kiddos! This place def lived up to the hype. I am a huge fan of curly fries and they were on point as well. Diane was super nice, letting me eat my meal there even after closing so I could have it there fresh since it was my first time.

She also gave me and other guests free cookies since it was closing time. Excellent experience overall and I recommend you come try it out. Mentioned on 2 lists.

Located in the heart of Houston, Tamashi offers hearty bowls of noodles and cooked sides in a casual setting. The restaurant specializes in Japanese ramen dishes and is known for its signature dish, Tamashi Menn - a Malaysian-style ramen topped with shrimp skewer.

This place is easy to miss if you don't know it's there. It is a quaint intimate eatery that I was lucky to get a seat at. As soon as the door opens, the aromas of deliciousness greet you. The wait staff are quick and attentive.

Your food is ready in minutes. The depth of flavors in each bite are uh-mazing. I really wished for an unending bowl of broth and ramen. First time visit based on a co workers recommendation.

Really enjoyed my lunch. Noodles were perfectly cooked and the broth was full of flavor. The meat was tender and nicely seasoned as were the fresh herbs and egg. The service was prompt and friendly. I would highly recommend you give them a try. I wish I could give it 5 stars because the food was just that good.

One of the few and great places that serve seafood shrimp broth based Ramen for an unbeatable price. The shrimp skewers were delicious! However, the space is very tight and crowded. Some of the servers are rude and did not seem to want customers at all.

Fantastic place to eat, really enjoy the pleasant atmosphere and quick service. The freshly made sushi is a must try for anyone visiting. The Burger Joint is a popular hamburger restaurant in Houston that offers gourmet burgers and specialty shakes.

The restaurant has a truck version that also serves up burgers, fries, and shakes. Food was delicious! I had the mushroom burger. It was huge and full of toppings. Bun was warm and soft. Massive amount of sweet potato fries too.

My food was fresh and hot and came out fast. Service was outstanding. You know your food was good when you think about it the next day 😂. Great little spot! Awesome atmosphere and seating area. Service was friendly and quick. Got the BBQ burger, a chili dog, and the veggie dog.

Everything was great, large serving sizes and homemade fries were so good. Also got a strawberry shake and it was delicious! The Burger Joint has the best burgers in Houston! As a burger aficionado, I can say I have tried many burgers in Houston and I have not found one that compares.

This empanada house in Katy, Texas makes their empanadas filled- to order. My friend and I ordered 7 or 8 different Bao as well as the home made chips and we loved just about all of them! Bulgari, Pork Katsu, and fried fish were the absolute best. The Memphis and Thai were good, just needed a little something extra.

The tofu and crab were our least favorite.
