Others want to play as many games possible regardless of their personal tastes Which is why they end up being so negative about gaming. For me, I only buy games that appeal to my personal interests in some way or another, so my library is some reflection of me as a person.
I guess those other situations are also a reflection of the person, but you would have to view the libraries from different perspectives to get that. Were you to just look at everyone's library as if they possess some identifiable thread between each game, you'll come up empty most times until run into someone that has an actual passion for the hobby.

It kinda sucks in a way, because now I can actually afford them, and also have way more time than I did when I had school. No homework means my evenings and days off are actually mine. I don't watch a lot of TV or movies either but part of that is my living room setup sucks. It's just not comfortable. I recently removed the fireplace so I can put the couch there and that will change everything. Removing the fireplace also removed a large heat loss so I won't be freezing down there anymore.
